Residence Features

What to Bring to The Next Step Sober Living
As you prepare to move into The Next Step, please use this checklist to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition into our recovery-focused community.
We Provide:

Clean bedding (sheets and blanket)

One standard pillow (bring your personal pillow for added comfort)

Household cleaning supplies
-
Basic cookware, plates, bowls, cups, silverware
-
Designated drawer and closet space in your room


You Should Bring:

BIG BOOK of Alcoholics Anonymous
-
Personal hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.)
-
Laundry detergent (washer/dryer provided)
-
One week’s worth of appropriate clothing (for meetings, work, and recreation)
-
Electronic devices such as phone, tablet, or laptop (Wi-Fi available)
-
Food for 3–4 days at a time (shared refrigerator and freezer space provided)
-
Any comfort or personal items (books, journals, etc.)
